Overview
Regis Investments, Ltd. is a company formed and registered in February 2003, by three men with varied experiences in salt mining and its derivatives, Information/Telecom Technology, General farming and Commodity Trading. Regis intends to capitalize on the experience mix of the owners to maximize return on equity by investing in each of the areas mentioned above, sequentially, with the salt investment being the first major drive.
The company has majority holding (100%) in Crown Sea Salt, Ltd, a 144 acre salt farm development along the West coast of Ghana, in Apam, Central Region. This site was a strategic investment to serve a specific demand from Niger and to be used as a research facility. Crown Sea Salt, Ltd has a fully developed 40 acre salt farm, which will be used for developing new technologies and production methods, for subsequent transfer to its 120 acre facility. Afife Salt Fields project in the Volta Region, along the East coast of Ghana is the next major Salt development project for Regis.
Beulah Farms will be the General Farming Subsidiary of Regis that will focus on Fish Farming, Pinneaple and other crop cultivation. Currently Regis management is in the process of acquiring a 300 acre land along the Volta Lake of Ghana, targeted for farming. Company name is yet to be registered.
CrownTech Solutions will be the IT/Telecommunications subsidiary of Regis that will focus on Rural Telephony using Voice Over IP and wireless local loop, IT consulting, Cellular Network Consulting, and Internet services. Company name is yet to be registered.
Regis Holdings and Trading Inc. is a U.S.A based sister company of Regis Investments Ltd focused on General Commodity Trading such as Cement, Clinker, Crude Oil, Sugar, Plywood, Fertilizer (Urea), Used Rails, Scrap metal (HMS1/2) and Iron Ore.
The Promoters of Regis Investments Ltd. invest equity capital and contract medium term debt capital from offshore and onshore sources, to share in the risks as well as the profits of a proposed venture.
